Midterms is almost upon me and a dozen other University Students. The time for studying has arrived and that in itself is a tad bit depressing. At least the view outside is not that bad. I took this from one of the study halls at my Uni.
I really do not enjoy Midterms. Though in all honestly I really should not complain. I am after all only taking three classes this semester.
The class that I started studying for this week is Psychology.
Psych is suppose to be fun. In High School I got a ninety in it and loved it. This year I feel like it is a drag and I am pushing myself through it.
I also have this huge fear of failing it. Deep down I just really want to do well in Psych.
Also there is that English Essay due next week as well as my Japanese midterm (which I have not started studying for).
To put it bluntly: I am stress beyond belief. Even though I like to pretend I am this great multi-tasker in truth I am not. It is really hard for me to schedule my life and keep to that time. I always find some distraction or something.
However I realize that if I am going to succeed at Uni I really need to start to learn to be a multitasker!!
Yesterday I hit up the Asian Food Market :D I was craving Pearl Milk Tea. The only place to get tapioca pearls and big straws is there. I also picked up some pocky, ramune and Calpis Water. I did not know they sold Calpis Water. I was a tad bit shock about that. My favourite drink, while I live, in Taiwan was Calpis Water. :D
I keep trying to make the best "Pearl Milk Tea". However I fail each time :( It is not so much the tea and syrup part but the tapioca pearls. Whenever I cook Tapioca pearls they always come out not as soft as I predict them to be. I have tried different things and used different recipes (found online).
My host mom in Taiwan could make a really, really good homemade Pearl Milk Tea!! Maybe I should just ask her hahaha.
So I saw my Academic Advisor on Friday =D She gave me the "nods" on the exchange =D Which meaning I can officially apply.
She told me that I should only take the first two Japanese classes my Universities offer as I'll probably do a lot overseas (or that is what happen with the other girl who went last year).
So instead of taking Japanese classes I should focus on my core and electives. ^_^
I am not allowed to apply until January 2013 =D
So I do not think I will be writing much about my exchange progress (process) for a while :(
